ANNUAL FEE
Two hundred and nineteen pounds / One hundred and sixty nine pounds for applications via the internet / Ninety nine pounds and ninety nine pence one off fee followed by monthly standing order payments of £10.99. (Standing order agreement is for minimum term of one year, but may be cancelled at any time after the first anniversary by giving one months notice. Voucher discount not valid for standing order option.)

COMPANY’S OBLIGATIONS
1) To act as an introduction service and to set up dinner parties and other social events (up to 40 per annum) with associate companies.
2) To notify the member of all events which the company in its own absolute discretion thinks the member may be interested in attending. The company guarantees a minimum of six invitations (although in practice most members will be offered in excess of 20 per annum). It is not the company’s practice to hassle members. If a member fails to respond to three consecutive invitations, the company will wait to hear from that member before offering further invitations.

 

MEMBERS OBLIGATIONS
1) To observe any dress code which the company imposes. The usual dress code is best described as smart casual. The member acknowledges that the company reserves the right to exclude anyone whom, in his absolute discretion the host may consider to be improperly attired.
2) To pay the annual membership fee in full, or set up appropriate standing order before attending his first event.
3) To pre-pay for all the events which the member wishes to participate. If the member wishes to cancel his reservation for a place at a dinner/lunch party, he must do so prior to seven days before the start time of the event to obtain a full refund, Cancellations between 72 hours and one week will only be entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations of less than 72 hours prior to a dinner/lunch party or less than three weeks prior to a special event such as the annual cruise cannot be refunded. Theatre type trips will only be refunded if the company can secure the ticket with another member. When a member agrees to attend an event, either verbally or otherwise, he will be bound to pay for that event unless the appropriate cancellation notice is given.
4) To behave with decorum and propriety at any event organised by the company. The company reserve the right to expel from an event any member whose behaviour is deemed liable, by the host, to cause offence to other members. Such behaviour may result in termination of membership with no refund.
5) To permit the company to assign this agreement only for the purposes of merger or reconstruction.
6) To permit the company to store personal information on the member on computer files for the company’s own records. The company will not share these records with a third party.
7) Not to seek to hold the company liable for any loss or injury howsoever caused to or suffered by a member at an event. This disclaimer does not affect statutory rights which a member may have enabling him to claim against a third party responsible for such loss, damage or injury other than the company.
8) The member agrees that for the duration of his membership and for 6 months thereafter that he will obtain written permission from Out & Out if he wishes to arrange an event independently of the club which is to include five or more current or former members of Out & Out. The member agrees to pay Out & Out a fee of £250 for each such event he arranges without written permission from Out & Out.


GENERAL
1) If any cheque payable to the company is not met upon first presentation, membership may be immediately terminated without prejudice to the company’s right to seek to recover any outstanding amount from the member.
2) Members are welcome to pay for events by credit / debit card by telephone, but all such payments will incur a £1 surcharge. The company will waive this surcharge for membership payments only.
3) The company reserves the right in its absolute discretion, without giving reason, to decline membership.
4) Members may request to put their membership on hold at any time for a minimum of 3 months, up to a maximum of one year. During this time members are not entitled to attend events. Membership is reactivated by giving one week’s notice, whereby the time taken out will be added to the term of the membership. Membership hold facility is only available to members paying for new memberships in full at the start of their membership term, and is not available for members who choose to pay by standing order.
